The Core Adjucation Panel (CAP) for each tournament has live access to teams feedbacks and scores given to judges after every debate round and they use this information to give judges specific roles (Chair/Panel) or room (top/bottom rooms) based on teams points. The scores and feedbacks from teams also determine if the judges do break and judge further in outrounds. Generally, judges can see their final average feedback scores in the adjudicators tab after the tournament. Despite a high demand among judges to view their feedbacks after tournaments, most tournaments typically do not disclose this information to the judges.

Traditionally novice debaters tend to participate in a novice only tournament where all their teammates and opponents have similar experience in debating. Pro-Am debating refers to the team being made up of one senior debater (usually with many open breaks/attended majors) and one novice debater (either completely new to debating or generally less than three open breaks) where the 'pro' generally runs/dump's the team case to the 'am'.

For the purpose of this debate, artificial intelligence have enabled the creation of systems that can analyze a person’s digital footprint including social media interactions, text messages, voice recordings, and other online data to generate an AI model that mimics their personality, speech patterns, and behaviors. These AI reconstructions allow individuals to interact with a digital version of a deceased person through text conversations, voice messages, and even phone calls.

The UEFA Champions League (UCL) is the most watched club football competition that is contested by top-division European clubs. Previously, the tournament had 32 teams which were placed in 8 different groups based on their seedings and the top two ranked teams from each group would advance to the knockout stages. In the new format, 36 teams compete in a round robin first with the top 8 teams automatically qualifying for the knockout stage while teams ranked 9-24 have to playoff for the other 8 knockout spots and the remaining teams being automatically eliminated from the tournament. In the new format, teams now play more number of matches and every other team in the tournament before the knockout stages with significant difference in strengths. This games takes place midweek while teams are still playing their respective league and local cup games on weekends.

Athlete Individuel Neutre (AIN) refers to special status given for athletes who are allowed to compete at Olympics as a seperate group despite having their country banned for their state's actions.This sanctions were done by the International Olympic Council (IOC) to countries that breached territorial integrity in geoploitics. Only athletes who did not support actions of war and did not wear any national colours, names, flags or anthems was allowed to participate as AIN. AIN cannot participate in the tournament opening ceremonies nor any medals won will not be added to the overall medal tally. Some athletes agreed to participate as AIN and some also refused to participate unless under their own country's flag.

Negative portrayals in media refers to the deliberate portrayal of certain groups, ideologies, or institutions in a negative light to influence public perception and promote social or political change. This tactic is commonly used in films, television, journalism, and advertising to highlight issues such as structural oppression and discrimination. (Eg. dystopian governments in The Hunger Games and racism in 12 Years a Slave). Positive portrayals are depictions of hope, positive attributes and self determination in movies not necessarily showcasing the negatives of institutions but rather the journey of the individuals or communities in navigating through life. Eg. The Pursuit of Happiness, Hidden Figures, Slumdog Millionaire.

Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP) is the mandatory national savings and retirement scheme for Malaysian employees. Employee's contribute 11% from their monthly salary whereas the employer contributes 12/13% for their employees as well. Members earn a yearly dividend on the total money saved. Members can withdraw all their savings upon reaching 55 years old or become incapacitated to work anymore. Currently, members are only allowed to withdraw for specific and major expenses such as housing, education and healthcare. Most Malaysians no longer have enough basic savings to meet the recommended savings amount when they retire especialy after the multiple one-off withdrawals during Covid-19. Many low-income families have demanded for the government to allow withdrawal anytime without limit for their everyday expenses given the rising costs of goods and slow increase in salary.

Traditionally, Petronas (Petroliam Nasional Berhad) the Malaysian national oil and gas company had control over the all oil wells in Sarawak including the offshore drilling rigs and pipes. In 2017, Sarawak had established Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (Petros), a state-owned company to manage its oil and gas resources. Shortly after a few years of long fought battle for independent ownership, Sarawak announced that Petros would take over Petronas' role in natural gas trading as the sole gas aggregator in Sarawak.
